An event not to be missed, The Artlife Gallery will be playing house to The Ark during the month of September. Ark is a showcase of recent work by calgary-based artist, John James. The exhibition is an exploration of parallels between the biblical pairings of Noah’s Ark and human relationships in our society. Driven by the themes of procreation and war, the work aims to give the viewer an intimate look at a suspended moment in time.

Joined on opening night (Friday, September 4) by none other than a roster of Calgary’s rock elite in a band named Dojo Workhorse. As their bio says:
”the Dojo Workhorse is nice music. sometimes REALLY nice.”

Concise and to the point. Life doesn’t get any better than this. Hope to see you there.
