atbt magazine is planning world domination and we need foot soldiers. We want to be the best magazine talking about only the best things all the time. If you are the most popular or the prettiest of your friends then you will fit right in.
Art
We want people to know the faces and personalities behind the paintings, sculpture, mixed media and anything else people use to create their art, unless the person doesn’t like dogs or ice cream. These stories are often features and range from 800 to 1200 words. The format is simple, a small introduction is written about the artist followed by a Q&A styled article.
Good Job
This is where atbt.ca highlights people making a splash in the scene. These are short Q&A’s that gather fun accounts and recommendations from people you already or should know.
Music and Theatre
These stories are typically either previews or reviews. We want our readers to only listen to the best song on the album so they can sing along next year when the radio stations start playing it. Stories are typically under 1000 words.
Travel
Sometimes what happens in Vegas is brought home and needs to be told, especially to your doctor if it hurts when you pee. If you have an interesting, above average travel tale we want to help you share it. These stories don’t generally have a word limit; just don’t take 500 words to explain how sick you got from the rotten fish.
Features
Features are generally more detailed articles with one or more interviews highlighting human interest in any of the above topics. Word length typically ranges from 1000 to 2500 words.
